"People often ask me how I ended up being a funeral director. When I was young, I didn't have a clue what I wanted to do when I grew up, but I did know that I wanted to help people. I worked many different jobs, the first being a farm hand at 14, the last before I became a funeral director as a golf course ground's keeper. Nothing has been as rewarding as what I do today. I could not find a more gratifying career than assisting a family through the saddest moment of their lives and doing my best to make an extremely difficult time a little bit easier. This career has granted me numerous opportunities to help people in a manner very personal to each individual, rewarding me with a level of fulfillment absent in any other job. It is what I was meant to do." Joshua Vandenbush
